The term appears in a CBC report where the following also appears:

distribución plaquetaria s/V. corp.

What do they mean by "s/V. corp."?

I am confused here, why are you mentioning RDW, when your question is "distribución plaquetaria" = platelet distribution, and
"volumen corpuscular" = corpuscular volume

THE VALUES The RDW and platelet distribution values are 12.90 and 11.10%, respectively. Other items listed in the report are white blood cells, red blood cells, hemoglobin, etc.

@ Lorena and Giovanni With you on RDW for distribución eritrocitaria (and platelet distribution width for "distribución plaquetaria", and V. corp. must be mean corpuscular volume (MCV). My hunch is that "s/" here could be "según", which would presumably be "by" in English, but I don't know enough about this to be able to pin it down.

V. corp is volumen corpuscular, the "s" is throwing me off a bit a think it stand for superficie. I dont' know if by superficie they are talking about the anchura (ancho) de la distribución eritrocitaria. This in English is known as RDW (red cell dsitribution width). if we had the numbers that come with the term I think it would be easier to tell.
