飛び出し

Japanese to English Tech/Engineering Computers: Hardware
In the sentence: USBポートに装着しても「飛び出し」が気にならない, regarding a USB memory stick which is much smaller than usual and can thus be left in easily without needing to worry about taking it out when you're carrying the computer around; I'm not sure what 飛び出し means in this context, though.

Guessing - but defintition 3 at the link below works in that context:
外の方へ突き出る: stick out/protrude

You don't have to worry about it sticking out.
