chops to match I assume you're referring to a previous KudoZ question about "warsztat", which in my opinion was overhastily translated. "chops" is a VERY colloquial expression meaning skill, technique, etc., and "to match" can only be added when the context allows, because it must be clear WHAT they match. For example, "Paul will go far in Hollywood. He's got chiselled good looks and the acting chops to match." Here, the acting chops match the good looks, i.e. they are of the same calibre.
