I have given a sort of full explanation. You might like to abbreviate and rearrange it a bit in your document.

There is an example here.

To TechLaw. Look at the link. A) This is bilancio in the sense of balance sheet and income statment. B) It is far more detailed than you would ever find in any published documents. C) I have never seen this in a US of UK financial document. You do have a side-by-side layout for a balance sheet but not an income statement. As for the "children" remark, as I clearly said "I have given a sort of full explanation. You might like to abbreviate and rearrange it a bit in your document." I am sure Beatrice is far too intelligent to actually post this verbatim.

Finally, please read the reference in the link.

It is not "just a balance sheet" it is a specific very very detailed balance sheet and income statment, which I have never seen outside Italy.

neutral TechLawDC : (1) It is not financial statements writ broad, but just a balance sheet; (2) No accountant writes this way, except for an audience of children.

balance sheet in two parts

E.g. assets on one side and liabilities and net worth on the other side.
