Polish term

technik budowy dróg i mostów

Polish to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering
w cv, gość uzyskał taki tytuł, "road and bridge construction technician"? czy jakos bardziej wyszukanie...?

Proposed translations

25 mins

civil engineer for roads and bridges; road and bridge civil engineer

(Unless it is known that the person is not an "engineer", "engineer" is probably preferred.)

(1) Confidence 4, not 5.
(2) The second alternative gets only 2 Google hits, but I think it is still good.

If a technician, then change "civil engineer" to "civil engineering technician".
Note from asker:
it is known that the person definitely isn't an engineer
Peer comment(s):

neutral PAS : Concur with Robert above. To be called an "engineer" in Poland (and elsewhere) you must must have an engineering degree obtained from a university of technology. // [...] Yes, I did read it :-) just wanted to provide some detail.

Please read my entry, where in fact I changed it to "technician".
disagree Polangmar : road and bridge construction technician || "civil engineering technician for roads and bridges" [as I understand your latest version] is rather clumsy

Please show me the respect of actually reading my entry before voting "disagree". As seen, I changed it to technician 14 hours before you entered your "disagree"!
