German term

freundliches Feedback

German to English Marketing Education / Pedagogy Follow-up letter to clients
My text is a follow-up letter thanking clients (in this case educationalists) for taking part in a workshop and suggesting more workshops for them to attend in the future. The sentence runs " Liebe Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer, nachdem sich die Eindrücke von unserer xxx Veranstaltung in xxx nun gesetzt haben, möchte ich mich zum einen für Ihr Kommen und Ihr aktives Mitwirken bei den Workshops und zum anderen für Ihr freundliches Feedback bedanken. Wir haben uns Ihre Anmerkungen zu Herzen genommen und freuen uns, dass die Resonanz so positiv ausgefallen ist."

I don't know what to do about freundliches Feedback. Is it positive feedback (if so, I need another word for positive Resonanz) or was it "freundlich" of the participants to send in their comments, or has it a specific meaning in marketing? I found this example http://www.unternehmerinnen-blog.net/2008/07/viele-freundlic... But as I am unfamiliar with what is actually meant, I am asking the KudoZ experts for their help.

German term (edited): freundliches Feedback; Resonanz ... positiv
Selected

positive feedback; response encouraging

... thank you for your positive feedback.
We have taken your comments to heart and are pleased that the response has been so encouraging.
"positive feedback" and "encouraging response" are both such strong idioms in English that they are hard to get around without sounding awkward or forced.

agree Horst Huber (X) : "Positive feedback" is the proper cliche; we would not want to translate Denglish into English?

kind feedback

we are delighted to have received such a positive response
Note from asker:
Thank you, polyglot. This is probably the nearest in meaning, but surely the feedback itself can be neither "freundlich", nor "kind", only the people who take the trouble to give it? But then, marketing speak has its own logic...
