French term

RC (en quart)

French to English Bus/Financial Insurance Motor Insurance
This is taken from an insurance policy statement, and is one of the column headers in a table describing previous accidents.

I'm not sure whether it relates to 'responsabilité civile' or something else. Any help much appreciated!

Agree with Nikki; instinctively, "responsabilite civile" would spring to mind.
Nikki Scott-Despaigne May 18, 2012:
RC My instinctive reply would be 'responsabilité civile'. Without any more information, there is no certainty. Without more context, noone is goignt to be more certain than you I imagine. Perhaps you could seek confirmation with the client.
