European works council is is the appropriate euro-speak for "comité d'entreprise européen", see first ref.
'Health and safety' is much more common than 'hygiene and safety' in English.

: Personally, I think CHSCT should be _Health_, Safety, etc., even if some people say "Hygiene" in "Euro-English"! The ILO is based in French-speaking Geneva, and I think it shows in their translation (but thanks for the useful ref.!)
