oświadczenie (dotyczące faktów)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Precognition_(Scots_law)

Note from asker:

Precognition in Scots law is the practice of taking a factual statement from witnesses before a trial is enjoined. This is often undertaken by trainee lawyers or precognition officers employed by firms. Many of these are former policemen.

In particular, it is the duty of the solicitor to ensure that any matters associated with the witness of which he is aware which would affect the taking of the precognition or the mode of contact, such as age, disability or other vulnerable status, are taken into account by him and communicated to any precognition agent.

A takie rozpoznanie/przepytanie to właśnie przesłuchanie:
Jak przebiega przesłuchanie świadka? W razie uwzględnienia wniosku o przesłuchanie świadka sąd wzywa go do stawiennictwa na rozprawie.
