Actually \"ha\'aretz\" (the land) would be enough. Ha\'aretz is the same thing as Eretz Israel (Land of Israel). So, the most loyal way of translating \"Yisrael ha\'aretz\" would be to treat it as an apposition: \"Israel, the Land\" - Israele, la Terra.
