Japanese to English Other History WWII Japan
This is the name of a school that existed in Japan during WWII. The school was originally called広島市商業学校 (currently called 広島商業高等学校), but was converted to 造船工業高校 for just a few years in line with a government guideline. I am looking for the official English translation of this school online, but haven't had any luck. I could simply translate it as "Hiroshima City School of Shipbuilding," but I was hoping someone might be able to help me find the official English translation, as I suspect one exists...

I think your translation is just fine. During WWI time in Japan, it is unthinkable for any Japoanese organization or institute to even consider English translation to their names,
So I don't think there is any official name to it.
