Discussion

chris collister Mar 14, 2012:
twist grips have improved enormously since they days when my old Triumph would regularly jam open. I believe that these days the twist grips are sprung independently of the carburettor spring - belt & braces: very sensible.
Tony M Mar 13, 2012:
Surely... ...this is to do with the (return) spring action of the throttle twist grip on the handlebar, isn't it?

throttle return

Many hits for 'throttle return spring' so I'd just say 'throttle return' as I guesss it is also about a motor bike
Note from asker:
Makes sense.

agree chris collister : or "twist-grip" to be pedantic, but throttle is fine
