Turnover is sometimes a synonym for revenue (or in certain contexts, sales), and I think this is the meaning here.

excluding markets (i.e. excluding capital markets)

"ex-markets" is shorthand for "excluding capital markets", which you will find lots of results for with Google http://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ix=sea...

here are a couple of references that closely link "ex-markets" or "excluding markets" with "capital markets":

Cost-to-income ***excluding markets*** down by 4.1 pp YoY to 58.4%, backed by sound growth in commercial
banking income and cost control
• Banking Income ***ex-markets*** increased 10.3%, boosted by robust performance of Commissions and fees,
up 29.2% to € 130.6 mn

This increase compensated the 3.9% decrease in net interest income and allowed a 3.5% increase in commercial banking income ***(excluding markets)***. The exceptional performance of ***capital market*** results, up by 80%, was achieved through the Group’s positioning in interest rate instruments and some recovery of the stock market.
