I can just see myself, with you getting more and more visibly pregnant, coming over to visit and saying, "Hi, how're you doing?" And I think, do I leave town now, or help her through what could be a difficult pregnancy and then leave town? That's how bad it gets

Lui descrive il pessimo comportamento che forse avra', ed e' consapevole che sara'...diciamo poco carino. Quindi, dire solo che "andra' a finire" in quel modo, mi sembra poco..
Ovviamente e' solo la mia sensazione, magari puoi aggiustarla un po' ma spero di aver trasmesso il mio pensiero
