Why not inclusion? If we isolate the word, in some cases betudás might be inclusion, however we have to look at the syntactical role of the parts of the sentence in the given context. The first clause is: "A megállapított ellátást a Ny. I. folyósítja" (let's call ellátás pension here), so The calculated pension will be paid by Ny.I. and the second clause is "egyúttal intézkedik a már kiutalt összegek egyidejű betudásáról." which is not a subordinate, but a co-ordinate clause, meaning simultaneously ordering the placement of amounts already paid out to be brought into hotchpot . The first clause informs you of a future action. The second clause cannot say "include" or "inclusion" because you cannot inlcude something that happened in the past in a future action. If they phrased the Hungarian sentence differently e.g. ..folyósítja, és a már kifizetett összeg a teljes megállapított összeg részének tekintendő the use of word "inclusion" or "include" would be perfect, and the beneficiary would not expect any more money than calculated by Ny.I. However, for the sake of Kudoz they seemed to have chosen a less clear, but legally and logically sound version.

kedves András, távolról sem utaltam arra, hogy javaslatod "agyrém" lenne! :) A kérdéses kifejezés viszont "betudás", nem "beszámítás", a témakör pedig ellátás és nyugdíj folyósítása, nem adózás. Mindezektől eltekintve akár még jó is lehetne a javaslatod... Reméljük, a kérdező számára is hasznos lesz ez az eszmecsere! :)

Változatlanul hangsúlyozom, hogy ez a megfeleltetés nem az én agyrémem. Pl. Weiblen+Gerő, Német-angol-magyar audit szótár (PriceWaterhouse), vagy EU anyagok, pl.:

Mi a betudás? A kifejezés magyar jogi meghatározása: "Az öröklési jogban kötelesrészként nyújtandó érték csökkentése azzal a vagyoni értékkel, amit a kötelesrészre jogosult az örökhagyótól ingyenesen vagy előzetesen kapott." Attól független, hogy ez a meghatározás öröklési joggal kapcsolatos, a nyugdíjfolyósításnál is alkalmazzák, mint ahogy András nagyon jól kifejtette. A Black's Law Dictionary szerint is "Hotchpot or the putting in hotchpot is applied in modern law to the throwing the amount of an advancement made to a particular child, in real or personal estate, into the common stock for the purpose of a more equal division or equalizing the shares of all children". Here the Insitute is notifying the beneficiary about the fact that disbursements will be made from the previously established amount (PEA), however the amounts already disbursed (considered advancements) will be put in hotchpot to be considered part of the PEA to prevent claims to request the disbursement of the total from the notification date while monthly payments began 6 or 7 months before the total was established. The Angol-magyar bank és tőzsdeszótár szintén hotchpotként tünteti fel a betudást.

Kedves András Köszönöm, hogy időt szántál az eszmefuttatásra. Meglehet, az általam felhozott példa nem tökéletesen felel meg a forrásszövegben aktuális szituációnak. Azt viszont továbbra sem értem, mi alapján nem találod helyesnek a javasolt fordítást, amikor abban többen is egyetértünk, hogy a "betudni" ige más szavakkal beszámítani, hozzáadni, benne foglaltatni, ez angolul to include, ehhez a főnévképzőt hozzátéve kapjuk a "betudás" szót, így lesz az angol megfelelő "inclusion". Számomra ez mind logikailag, mind nyelvtanilag helyesnek tűnik. Az X összeg Y összegbe történő betudása szerintem inclusion of X amount in Y amount. Ezzel nemcsak, hogy nem látok problémát, de jobb megoldást sem tudok elképzelni. Az ellentételezés (set-off) értelme egészen más, mint a betudásé/beszámításé (inclusion). Köszönöm, hogy elolvastál.. :)

Elnézést, hogy itt folytatom. Az Általad hozott jogszabályoknak nincs köze e témához. Itt alighanem rokkantsági ellátásról van szó. Ha ennek összege megváltozik (súlyosbodik az illető állapota, vagy részleges helyett teljes összegű ellátást kap immár stb.), akkor új megállapító határozatot hoznak, és ILYENKOR mondják azt, hogy a most megállapított összegbe betudják a korábbi ellátás havi összegeit. Kilószám fordítottam ilyet görög relációban. Az Te példád másra vonatkozik, és persze az idézett jogszabály MAGYARUL hatályos, nem angolul, s nem tudom, jó-e egyáltalán a talált fordítás. A "set-off" a Nagy+Varga-féle Angol-magyar pénzügyi szótár szerint "ellentételezés; fizetések beszámítása", tehát rajtam kívül más is talált példát az általam javasolt HUEL megfelelésre.

In your particular context,
"...intézkedik a már kiutalt összegek egyidejü betudásáról..."
I would use
"...shall ensure the (concurrent / simultaneous) inclusion of the amounts already allocated..."
Or, you may change the structure slightly,
"...ensure that the amounts already allocated are (concurrently / at the same time) included...."

Kedves András, elolvastad a válaszomat? Beszámítás, hozzáadás valóban, a "betudás" a hatályos jogszabály szerint is "inclusion". A "set-off" ellentételezés, ami egészen mást jelent, mint amiről itt szó van. (Hollandul sajnos nem tudok, de a kérdés HU-EN)
disagree JANOS SAMU : Amount that had already been disbursed cannot be included (hence "inclusion" here is incorrect), and the two actions given in one sentence of the context are inconsequential. These are two separate actions.

"cannot be included"? But this IS what the source text says: Nyugdíjfolyósító által "már kiutalt összegek betudása". In my opinion this translates to the inclusions of amounts already allocated. Of course it CAN be done...

disagree Ildiko Santana : This is what "betudni" (verbal form) means but I believe the proper legal term is "inclusion" and that would be grammatically correct as well, since we are not looking for a verb here. (See more under my answer)

bringing into hotchpot

The word for betudás is hotchpot, but the act in the given context is an action therefor I sued bringing into hotchpot
(Here item No. 3 is applicable:
Hotchpot is a slang term referring to the blended group of Section 1231 "Gains and Losses" of the U.S. Tax Code. According to the Code, a section 1231 gain is:

Any recognized gain on the sale or exchange of property used in the trade or business, and
1-Any recognized gain from compulsory/involuntary conversion of
Property used in the trade or business, or
2-Any capital asset which is held for more than one year and is held in connection with a trade or business or a transaction entered into for profit
3-Into other property or money

Sorry for my typo. In the first line of the explanation "sued" should hvae been "used".
Example sentence:

If a father, dying intestate, should leave two sons, and a daughter in whose name he had promised a dowry, the three children shall inherit equally, and the dowry shall still be subject to hotchpot; so that the brothers will be released from the necessity

A logikáját kell nézni a dolognak, és nem szabad egy kifejezést csak egy vagy két alkalmazási területre korlátozni. Az értesítést megelőzően kifzetett nyugdíj megelőlegezett összegnek tekintendő.
