"Herstellerquartal" is a term used rarement. "Fertigungsquartal" has more hits. Note: "Fertigungsdatum" ist even more frequent.

As factory inspector I am familiar with standard-based requirements for manufacturing. The most frequent term is manufacturing date. "Date" should not be taken to literal. Some standards allow clear indication of month, quarter or year or encoded.

In the United States, the DOT Code is an alphanumeric character sequence molded into the sidewall of the tire for purposes of tire identification. The DOT Code is mandated by the U.S. Department of Transportation. The DOT Code is useful in identifying tires in a product recall.

Conclusion: different translations like date of manufacture, manufacturing date, production date, construction date and some paraphrases are used. Again, "manufacturing date" is the most frequent term. I was sure about this, as I encountered it always during my professional experience (40 years) as designer, approvals engineer and factory inspector.
