Spanish to English Social Sciences Cooking / Culinary Typical pastry from Madrid?

This is from a monthly magazine published by Madrid tourist board to publicise Madrid to locals and tourists.

They include very short quick interviews with people in each neighbourhood who give their recommendations for shops, restaurants, etc.

In this case, the question was "Para volver a lo artesanal"?

What is a cruni?? I've been searching online and asking around, and no-one seems to know what it is.

Any Madrid residents shed some light please?
