Hello, is it correct to say "Perhaps Alex increased Emma's impatience to lost less money"? Is there a more beautiful tournure? Because it is in order to negociate the price of her shop and she is impatient to sell her shop.

Alex might have played on her impatience to sell, in order to spend less money
