This is a literal translation. 'Vox' is not used of attire, fashionable or other, in classical literature, but occasionally it is used in the sense of 'tone, accent' (of a word) and this might perhaps be extended to clothing. 'Tempora', however, is very frequently used in the English sense of 'times'.
