Greek term

Υπ. 4

Non-PRO Greek to English Law/Patents Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs Birth Certificate
Good morning,

I have to translate an extract of a birth certificate from Greek to English and I need help for the following: Υπ. 4.....Φ/881/89.
It is on the bottom left side of the document, next to the registrar's signature. In addition, someone has also signed this part (different than the registrar but no name is given) thus I am confused.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks!

Thank you very much Maya. I think I am going for your suggestion as it seems the best in my case.

Υπουργείο

Just an idea...maybe its Ministry of something and then another abbreviation/decree etc?
Note from asker:
Thank you. That's what I thought too since the extract comes from the Ministry of Interior but this 4 troubles me as what would Ministry 4 be? Then I am thinking it can mean "signature" but then again Signature 4?

Signed

The abbreviation for signed is Yπ. If the numbers you mentioned could be a date, then that would make sense. Yπ. is also an abbreviation for Ministry. Hope this is of some help.

Note from asker:
Thank you for your help. The problem is that there's nothing else next to Υπ. 4 and the following numbers are on a different sentence. I don't think I made this clear, sorry.
