Whatever flows cannot err.
Augustine of Hippo in De Civitate Dei writes Si […] fallor, sum ("If I am mistaken, I am") (book XI, 26), and also anticipates modern refutations of the concept. Furthermore, in the Enchiridion Augustine attempts to refute skepticism by stating, "[B]y not positively affirming that they are alive, the skeptics ward off the appearance of error in themselves, yet they do make errors simply by showing themselves alive; one cannot err who is not alive. That we live is therefore not only true, but it is altogether certain as well" (Chapter 7 section 20).

taking Nodi's proposal a little further, a little beyond the literal, and nothing to do with going with the flow, which is doing whatever is easiest - whatever everyone else is doing. This is more about doing what seems instinctively right rather than following the easiest course. It depends on the register and the target audience whether Nodi's or my answer would be more appropriate. I feel the literal translation (flowing) could be a little obscure and might need a little expanding for most English audiences, but I wouldn't want to unnecessarily oversimplify either
