Spiegazione:
To be honest, I don't know the Swiss Italian use of medical terms. Yet I have no doubt that this is the "asse normale", the normal (electrical) axis which is called "Normaltyp" or "Indifferenztyp" in German.
[Note that "normal axis" is a technical term - not the same as "unremarkable"]
