French term

souhaité

French to English Other Telecom(munications) telecommunications
I'm not sure how the "souhaité" fits in here.
This is in reference to data entries.

Une fois la saisie du motif est effectué par le SC, un message de confirmation de la non confirmation est souhaité afin de laisser une possibilité de retour arrière.

desirable

I get the impression that this is part of a set of specifications for a program of some time. If this is correct, I would suggest something like "It is desirable that there be a confirmation/non-confirmation message so that the user may have the opportunity to go back [in the event of non-confirmation]". In other words, the user should be able to confirm the accuracy of what has been entered to allow for him/her to go back and reenter the data if it is incorrect. I don't have enough context to be sure that this is correct, but it could fit.

Hope this helps!

would be useful to have a chance to go back

...would be useful to have a chance to go back (and correct or change anything, as needed).

That is, such an option would come very handy in such a situation; accordingly, it would be desirable to have it.

Another way to see it: "souhaitée" means, I think, that although it is not mandatory it will be very helpful
