Spanish term

roturas de stock en los lineales

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Retail Supply chain parameters/EDI
SPAIN. From a text about EDI billing. I'd always assumed "roturas" referred to breakage/damages goods but the context here seems to suggest an interruption to supply lines rather than broken/damaged goods.

layout stock-out

A couple of years ago I used to have a client who needed similar translations. In the glossary they gave me, "roturas de stock en los lineales" appeared as "layout stock-out".

Since the client wanted it to be translated this way, I never checked it personally, but since the client was a big company whose texts are published in every country in Europe, I presume they knew what they were doing.
Note from asker:
Fast and furious! Cheers Alistair ;)
