xxx recommends recalibration of the accelerometer sensors:
• Every 30 days during times when the system is being used
frequently,
• after any prolonged period that the system has not been used,
• or any time the system is generating data that appears erroneous
or suspect (high ride index values, ****traces**** with excessive peak and
trough amplitudes or “noisy” or “choppy” attributes.
The system is supplied with computer instructed procedure for
static re-calibration of the system accelerometers. An identical
procedure is defined for the system. xxx does not
recommend performing the accelerometer static calibration procedure
any more frequently than 90 day intervals, unless the system has
developed signs of irregular profile data or output of profile traces
with irregular attributes (noise traces, volatile traces, excessive
roughness, etc.).
