English to Italian Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)

Buongiorno,
sto revisionando un contratto.
L'originale è questo:

"Whereby the parties premise that they realise that the responsibilities of the indemnitee are varied and **honourous** and further that there is the risk of litigation, civil or criminal and other claims being asserted against the resident director of company."

Il traduttore ha usato "onerose", ma a me "honourous" dà l'idea che tali responsabilità devono essere rispettate, ossia che deriva da "honour". Come renderlo in italiano senza troppe parole?
