Sì, penso che non ci sono problemi a renderlo con "belva" oppure in alternativa ti do "macchina" essendo riferito a un computer.

Il motivo della censura è che belva non è un termine gradito nel settore informatico "ufficiale", a meno che non vai sui siti e riviste dei gamers!

Anche se forse poco "dolce", il termine bestia è molto usato - specialmente dai ragazzi - per indicare le potenzialità dei vari pc.
In questo caso ometterei potente perché "bestia" mi sembra già soddisfacente come termine per esaltarne la potenza.

Non so se Leopard è il nome del modello in inglese o meno. Comunque belva di sicuro non va usato! Se mi dai + contesto, posso capire meglio

Negli ambienti degli esperti, si usa molto spesso l'epiteto "mostro di potenza" per indicare un computer appunto molto performante, con specifiche che lo rendono adatto a far girare software molto esigenti e "pesanti" per le risorse di sistema (per esempio i videogiochi), come infatti è riportato nel prosieguo del testo a proposito del prodotto recensito.

SEconda cosa: secondo me è importante dire anche agli altri che il testo è una recensione di un esperto ed usa un tono molto colloquiale ed informale, parlando in prima persona, per cui anche "bestia" potrebbe starci.
