German to English Medical Medical (general)
I've been running a Befunde-Marathon for two days now and my brain just shut down [permanently, I think].

What is QUAX?

Patient with mastectomy:

"Bei Frau [] besteht ein. Z.n. QUAX sin. am 20.03.2009, leider ergab die endgültige Histologie die Resektion nicht im Gesunden und einen Tumordurchmesser von 6 cm[...]"

Best guess My best guess is that tissue from a left breast quadrant and the axilla was resected (Qu-quadrant, ax-axilla). Does the rest of your document shed any more light on the localization of the resection?
