Tejinder, thanks so much for giving me the link of this wonderful website which contains the English equivalents of Punjabi words in Gurmukhi as well as Shahmukhi script. However, it has been mentioned there as ਧਨੇਸਰੀ instead of ਧਨੇਸਡ਼ੀ and I think that the former will be the standard form. |
Oh, sorry, it was an oversight. Yes dhanesaDi has been mentioned as pounding of paddy; pounding, beating, thrashing, threshing; threat, growl, frown, scowl. |
