salutarmente pulverizada

Portuguese to English Art/Literary Architecture text about Portuguese architecture in Macau
Sobre os tempos mais recentes a produção de conhecimento tem sido salutarmente pulverizada, sendo ainda possível contar com os testemunhos dos protagonistas da decisão, projeto e construção, alguns, aliás, ainda radicados no território.

This gem appears in a huge tome about traces of Portuguese architecture in Macau and Nagasaki. This paragraph immediately follows one that explains there are gaps in what has been published about older Macau architecture.

Any help much appreciated.

Snap! Sometimes it pays the bills, though. :(

What do we most dislike translating? I dislike translating intellectualoid verborrhea in which the number of words is inversely proportional to the meaning conveyed.

I could post many more, but you would all start to hate me!

A gem indeed!! A gem indeed!!

Note from asker:
Well, given the clearly fancy pants phrasing of the original, why not, indeed?

[has] spread with a healthy/positive effect

Better to put the point about the effect being positive in the position of emphasis.
