She experienced many flashbacks of incest and physical abuse by her alcoholic mother and father. She had lived her life as a victim (her own and others'), yet when she had the flashback of the crib abuse, her adult self appeared in the room and said in a booming voice, "How dare you!" This was a "Resource Self" that had not appeared in her life before.

Using the Neurotherapy, we have found that this phenomenon of the Resource Self occurs with many female cases who have experienced sexual abuse.
