cross (software)

Based on what I've found, it seems simply "cross". In English, I've seen many examples of "cross-application" software, as in "one that crosses multiple applications".

Ref1 is Japanese use example 「アプリ横断」
Ref2 is English use example "cross application"

Just for clarification the translation is "cross" by itself. I put (software) to show it's software related use.
Example sentence:

個別アプリのRDB実装指向のものから、アプリ横断の業務可視化指向のものまで、種々の方法論が開発された。

Cross Application Communication

Peer comment(s):

agree Marnie Levy : 横断 literally means cross, but this is where literal translation of Japanese into English gets difficult. This is about upgrading cross-application software, so the "cross" will be translated in "cross-application" and not as a verb as in the Japanese.
