A wing is also an administrative sub-division of an RAF station. Historically, for a flying station these were normally Operations Wing, Engineering Wing and Administration Wing and each wing was commanded by an officer of wing commander rank. Early in the 21st century, the model changed, with Engineering Wing typically being split into Forward Support Wing and Depth Support Wing, while Administration Wing was redesignated Base Support Wing.

بالنسبة لاقتراحي وضعت قائد جناح لأن التعريف يشتمل على الإدارة بالإضافة للهندسة والطيران. بالنسبة لي هو قائد جناح بمرتبة أو برتبة المقدم

أرى اقتراحك مناسبًا جدًّا لأنه يمكن أن يشمل الإدارة والشؤون الفنية والطيران، إلخ

agree Mohammad Gornas : قائد جناح Is absoluetly wright as used in the Royal Air Force and most British oriented Air forces (he is normally Muqaddam) but not necessarly Tayar if he is a technical wing commander then he would be an engineer ..it is a post as well as rank
