| Así lo veía yo. Mi duda surgió porque tengo una serie de columnas sin líneas divisorias y los títulos de dos de las columnas son: Course title y subject area. Y no se distingue si lo que hay abajo pertenece a las dos columnas o solo a course title. Ej: Course title Subject area M/J Compre Phys Ed 1 |

En realidad, creo que casi todas las propuestas que se han hecho pueden funcionar, según el tipo de institución educativa y el lugar del mundo al que pertenezca. Mi propuesta equivale a "área temática", que también está muy bien, a "materia", a "asignatura" y hasta a "disciplina". No a "tema", que designa un concepto mucho más restringido que "materia", por ejemplo, ya que en una asignatura se estudian diversos temas.
