Full phrase, describing an emulsion, is:

I can't figure out how to render 記憶させるin this case...
--an emulsion that "gives the impression of high-quality skin"??? (weak and inaccurate because the product seems to actually improve skin quality, not just make it look like it's been improved)
--an emulsion that reminds skin of just how high-quality it can be??? (a stretch, I know...)
--I'm also struggling a bit with whether it's an "elasticity emulsion" (!?) or whether the 弾性is what does the 記憶させる。i.e. Emulsion with elasticity that's reminiscent of high-quality skin?? Help!

In this sentence, I think 弾性means 弾力性のある.
I think "resilient" is suitable when you talking about skin.
"記憶させる" is little difficult but I think "store" would be good.
Maybe you can use "keep" as well.

Obviously this is a loose rendering. A literal translation is just going to sound ridiculous. Is 'high-quality skin' a normal expression in cosmetics? It sounds like a synthetic product.
I'm not sure what 記憶させる is doing here, but 'stores' or 'records' sound wrong. Perhaps 'retain' or 'keep' or as you say, 'give the impression of' would work.
