hitch boom

The long bar with nozzles for dispensing pesticides, herbicides, et cetera is called a 'boom' or 'spray boom.' When it is attached behind machinery, it is called a hitch boom.

Longer ones with 'arms' are called 'wing booms.' (see Example sentence 2)

Web reference 1 shows a longer 'hitch boom.'

boom=barra
hitch doesn't exactly equal trainato which is more literally 'towed'; but is a synonym in use (see example sentences)
Example sentence:

For boom type sprayers, flat fan-type nozzles should be used to apply broadcast herbicides. [web source]

An agricultural implement includes a hitch boom to which a pair of wing booms is pivotably connected. [web source]

In fact, it depends largely on context and also hitch boom might apply. However the latter would be more properly a "barra portata".
