French term

prix du palmarès

French to English Social Sciences Environment & Ecology Urban Renewal
Am used to hearing this term but have never been asked to translate it. Does it simply mean "award"? Here it is in context (from a text about a town which won an award for an urban renewal project) "La même année, elle reçoit aussi le prix du palmarès XXXX dans la catégorie « XXXX»

award-winners prize

* a logical guess? Like Cup-winners Cup in football.
Peer comment(s):

neutral writeaway : hardly the same as the Cup Winner's Cup. and nothing at all on the www to back it. not terribly logical imo

French term (edited): le prix du palmarès XXXX dans la catégorie « XXXX»

the "XXXX" category prize in the XXXX awards

won the "XXXX" category prize in the XXXX awards

(fill in the blanks)

Difficult without the names of the competition or category, but I think this is what is meant.
