The In-Training Assessment (ITA) is a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) test which uses the same questions as the Part I European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (EDA).
Trainees may sit the ITA at any stage in their training, either in selected training departments accredited by the ESA Examinations Committee or in the European Diploma Part I Examination Centres. Registered Specialists, wishing to assess their knowledge, may also sit the ITA.
Marking and Feedback

The ITA provides trainees and their Directors of Training with a Candidate Report Form showing a detailed breakdown of the candidate's performance as well as a symbolic pass/fail result for each question booklet that indicates the pass/fail threshold for the EDA Part I of the same year.

Wobec powyższego zadania edukacyjne związane z przeprowadzeniem egzaminu EDA I
zostaną zakończone w dniu 19 września 2008 poprzez przeprowadzenie egzaminu próbnego
który pozwoli zdającym zapoznać się z organizacją pytań testowych, jak również wskaże punkty, w których należy swoją wiedzę poszerzyć. Wyniki egzaminu próbnego zostaną udostępnione natychmiast po jego przeprowadzeniu poprzez wręczenie formularzy odpowiedzi zdającym.

In-training assessment (ITA) of trainees in anaesthesiology is an essential part of the trainees’ education and development. ITA will focus on trainees’ professional competent practice on three domains: clinical skills, attitudes and behaviour.
