Spanish term

compartir paseíllo

Spanish to English Other Idioms / Maxims / Sayings
I haven't got much context for this...

It's from a text talking about a chef who "compartió paseíllo" with another chef. I know paseíllo is the bullfighter's ceremonial entry but what's the idiom in English? Shared the plaudits? Shared the acclaim/stage?

Any ideas welcome..

Thanks

are the two chefs cooking together as a team... or in competition with one another??
Lucy Williams (asker) Mar 24, 2010:
it's from a cooking competition

It would be really helpful to have the complete... sentence to see what would fit best... does this refer to a single event like a demonstration at a show or a longer partnership?

The "paseillo" is, indeed, the ceremony when bull fighters let show before the bullfight. Then they get all the possible atention.
