As I understand it, a sign rider is a small addition to a 'for sale' board as those put up by estate agents. Presumably, the idea is that the smaller board gets a 'ride' on the bigger board
Problem is, these boards don't really exist in the same way in Germany, not in my experience anyway.
Google is not much help either.
So I'm speculating Maklerschild-Zusatz??
Ergänzungsschild, Schild-Anhang, Unterschild?

: Ich weiß auch nicht genau, wie man das nennt, aber Zusatzschild finde ich am passendsten. Das gibt auch die Erklärung auf dieser Site wieder.
