German term
PAPsyt. der Trikuspidklappe ohne ZVD
German to English
Medical
Medical (general)
Cardiology, radiology
In a thoracic echocardiogram this phrase occurs in this context:
"Physiologische Reflux über die Trikuspidklappe. PAPsyt. der Trikuspidklappe ohne ZVD 40 mmHg. Normale Struktur der Mitralklappe."
I am considering "pulmonary arterial pressure" for PAP and "central venous pressure" for ZVD, but I don't know what the "syt." means (could be misspelling in document). I hope someone with more medical knowledge can clear this up.
Thanks!

Yes, "syt." has to be a typo. It should be "sys."
PAP = pulmonary artery pressure
ZVD = central venous pressure (CVP)
See the link below for a reference about determining PAP in newborns using tricuspid regurgitation.

Comment: "Thanks, Dawn. I used your suggestion but used "minus" as Anne suggested. Since this was a typo I'm not putting it in the open glossary -- might confuse someone."
