Danish term

Retningsbetegnelse

Danish to English Social Sciences Education / Pedagogy
On a Danish Engineering transcript:

Retningsbetegnelse: Bygningsingenior.

How would I phrase this in English: Title? Degree? Major? = Construction engineer?

Program: Architectural Engineering

I suppose it is the subject in which you you have specialised as an engineer.
Maybe "program" is not the right word, but that is what is used on the website for Ingeniørhøjskolen, the English version. On the Danish site they speak about "retninger"

Sorry, it was the other way round: Construction engineer (US), structural engineer, civil engineer - still with GRO as reference.
Example: The construction engineering program is a blend of engineering, construction and construction management courses. From: http://www.ndsu.edu/ndsu/academic/factsheets/eng_arch/conste...
Example sentence:

Bygningsingeniører arbejder med planlægning, styring og kontrol af alle slags bygge- og anlægsarbejder.

Som bygningsingeniør er jeg med til at præge det fysiske miljø, som omgiver os alle, og mine kompetencer er med til at bygge op og skabe nye rammer. Jeg er med til at sætte nye standarder.

Specialization

"Field" or "Specialization"

e.g. A Degree in Engineering - Civil Engineer / Construction Engineer

The Civil Engineer / Construction Engineer (Bygningsingenior) part is the specialization.

(I keep putting specialisation - I need my US spell checker)
