1) "There is a fish market with its own restaurant, called the Crab and Winkle, seafront hotels and narrow alleys leading to the town with its ***clapboard*** houses, inviting shops and restaurants. Needless to say seafood is king in Whitstable!"
2) From the elegant, colonnaded Pantiles to the modern Royal Victoria Palace Mall, shopping is a delight in Tunbridge Wells. This is a town of architectural gems, from the Regency and Victorian periods to pretty ***clapboard*** cottages.
3) The Great House, just off A229 at Gills Green. Well known for good food and Harvey’s beers this white ***weatherboarded*** pub is popular with locals and visitors alike.
