French term

charge de réalisation

French to English Other Computers: Systems, Networks
I have the following sentence in a service level agreement between an IT services provider and his client: Le nombre d'Anomalie Bloquante et/ou Majeure de recette est inférieur à 3 pour 10 jours de charge nette de réalisation de l’évolution". Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Discussion

MatthewLaSon Jul 24, 2009:
évolution is the main problem for me. I think that "réalisation" has to do with implementation and "charge nette" loading/uploading?

évolution = to the latest version (go through the all the versions until you get it to the lastest version)

implementation work

I think "10 jours de charge nette de réalisation de l’évolution" might be 10 days spent in implementing an agreed upgrade to the system. Can you supply more context that would clarify this?

agree MatthewLaSon : Actually, Oliver, I was thinking something like that. The word "évolution" has me stuck, but I'm no expert in the field. "Evolution" may just mean an upgrade of some kind.

Yes, I've seen it used like that elsewhere.
agree Anne Bohy : évolution = évolution logicielle = upgrade, more or less. What they mean here is that they will allow more errors on software modifications requiring more coding.
