Japanese term

中心に置きながら

Japanese to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
「当社はリスク管理と経費節減を企業努力の中心に置きながら・・・」

この場合の「中心に置きながら」というのはどう訳せばよいのでしょうか。

while our primary focus on...

In your sentence it would need to be reworked to something like "while keeping the primary focus of our efforts on..."

Oops, I left out "keeping" in the suggestion. It should read "while keeping our primary focus on..."

center on

If you translate the whole sentence, you can use the phrase "center on." My version is "Our corporate efforts center on risk management and cost control."
