English term

penny rounds

English to French Other Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.)

Metal Collection – Choose dramatic stainless steel penny rounds and brickbond mosaics in for a contemporary edge.

agree Tony M : 'pastille' sounds the best solution to my ears (albeit EN ones!)

English term (edited): penny round

disque / palet (du diamètre d'un penny)

I think you're right; I believe here it just means a mosaic made up of 'round discs' with the diameter of a penny — but watch out, is this US or GB? Because in the UK an old penny had a diameter of something like 1" (25 mm), whereas a penny in the US (= 1¢ ?) is a lot smaller, I believe. I'd have thought the larger diameter was more likely to apply in this decorative context...

Sounds like we're going back to the 70s!

neutral Tony M : Yes, except that these don't seem to be 'dalles', but rather mosaics
