The text is about the first Krupp to go into steel production:

Der Erfolg is mäßig – Krupp zehrt vor allem von seinem Privatvermögen – dennoch lässt er 1813 eine Gussstahlfabrik fertig stellen, die Bohrer und andere Werkzeuge sowie Münzstempel und –walzen produziert.
