If the client just wants to refer to a high-risk investment, you should avoid other terms which may be correct, but are relatively uncommon. (High-risk investment yields 62,000 Google hits, while risk output yields 1,630). You might mark it for the client. If they´re just referring to an inversión de alto riesgo, go with high-risk investment. If it´s something more peculiar, risk output could be appropriate.
