The Child Trust Fund is a new long term savings and investment account
for children. It aims to give all children a financial head start in life and to
help teach them the value of saving.
All eligible children will automatically receive a £250 voucher from the Government. Children born before 6 April 2005 will receive a slightly
larger initial payment. You will then need to open a Child Trust Account on their behalf.
