En la oración, "su hermana era más bonita y más considerada por los padres". ¿Cómo dejo considerada? Significa que era más tomada en cuenta por los padres, que su opinión importaba más que la de la otra chica.

Someone that is more highly-regarded does not necessarily receive more attention; however, the attention she receives is not frowned upon (no aceptado) or undervalued (menospreciado). To the contrary, what that person does is more highly-regarded (considerado).

depending on the rest of your context you could also use something like:

"and her parents took her more seriously"
